D-Prize Challenge 2026

Applications are now open for the D-Prize Interventions Challenge 2026, a global competition that supports entrepreneurs launching new ventures to distribute proven solutions to poverty in low- and middle-income countries. D-Prize provides up to US$20,000 in seed funding to help entrepreneurs pilot new organizations focused on increasing access to evidence-based interventions in areas such as health, education, agriculture, livelihoods, water, and governance. Rather than funding new inventions, D-Prize supports the scale-up and distribution of solutions that have already been proven to improve lives.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must:

Be aspiring or early-stage entrepreneurs committed to launching a new organization focused on distributing a proven poverty intervention.
Propose a solution that is evidence-based and has demonstrated impact but remains inaccessible to many of the people who need it.
Submit a proposal in English through the official D-Prize application platform.
Organizations with more than 18 months of full-time operations or that have raised more than US$30,000 may not be eligible.

Selected entrepreneurs can receive up to US$20,000 to launch and test their pilot initiative.
Funding supports the first stages of implementation, helping founders validate their distribution model and prepare for future growth.
